Last week felt like a soft launch into spring. The air was lighter, the sun stayed a little longer, and for a second I thought we had made it.
And then this morning, I looked outside and there it was. A gentle dusting of snow across the grass, like Michigan whispering, not so fast.
Truthfully, I didn’t mind.
By noon, I was already on my third walk of the day with Myles, my miniature schnauzer who believes every snowflake was personally delivered for his entertainment. His little paws moving fast, nose to the ground, fully committed to winter’s encore.

There is something calming about snow when it’s light and unbothered. Not the dramatic kind that shuts down highways, just the soft kind that reminds you to slow down. To breathe deeper. To let the world move at a gentler pace.
After our walks, I’m spending this Sunday doing a little cleaning around the house, lighting a candle, and curling up with The New York Times Best Seller… The Andy Warhol Diaries, a thoughtful gift from Ciara. It feels fitting, reading about art, culture, and quiet observation while snow rests gently outside the window.

Sometimes life works like Michigan weather. Just when you think you’re moving into the next chapter, you get a little reminder to savor where you are. And maybe that’s not a setback.
Maybe it’s grace.
Happy Sunday, everybody.
So tell me, are you someone who loves one last snow day, or are you completely ready for spring?
What are you reading or doing to reset this weekend?
Do you secretly enjoy a slow Sunday at home?
Tell me, I want to know.
