Sometimes the best afternoons happen when you are simply looking for bread and end up with a full experience instead…

Ciara and I ventured into town in search of a fresh loaf, soaking up the easy charm of downtown Ann Arbor on a slow afternoon…

Two older gentlemen running a local essential grocery shop waved us over and insisted we try the restaurant next door, promising it would be worth it.

We stepped into Revive + Replenish, a close-to-campus favorite known for fresh, healthy sandwiches, bowls, and smoothies, and instantly felt at home.

I ordered the smoked turkey Reuben and it was heavenly, warm, melty, perfectly balanced, the kind of sandwich that makes you pause mid-bite.

While waiting on my order, I skipped down the street to Misfits Society Coffee Club for a strong yet pleasantly sweet vanilla latte that never disappoints. I was also reminded by the person in front of me that I needed to order a Goyard tote bag for the spring. Yes, I’m always collecting fashion data…always.

Of course, Ciara decided she was craving something different, so we made a quick stop at Raising Cane’s Chicken for something quick, fun, and filling.

What started as a simple bread run turned into one of those perfect Ann Arbor lunch moments, fresh food, strong coffee, and good company.

So tell me, what are you having for lunch today?
