There is something about graduation season that makes the world feel hopeful.

Maybe it’s the caps flying through the air, proud families filling auditoriums, or the way someone walks across a stage carrying years of hard work, late nights, disappointments, and dreams all at once. Every graduation marks the end of one chapter, but even more importantly, it marks the beginning of another.

This weekend, I’ll be celebrating a very special graduate, and it has me thinking about how quickly these moments pass.

We spend so much of life rushing toward the next thing that we sometimes forget to stop and simply experience the moment we’re in. We tell ourselves we’ll remember it forever, but memories are made in the quiet details: the laughter before the ceremony begins, the proud tears, the hugs that last a little longer than usual, and the smile of someone who is wondering what comes next.

So put the phone down.

Take the photos, of course, but don’t watch the entire ceremony through a screen. Be present. Cheer loudly. Clap until your hands hurt. Celebrate every name that is called because every graduate has a story that brought them to that stage.

If you’re the graduate reading this, know that it’s perfectly normal to feel excited and terrified at the same time.

This is one of the biggest milestones of your life. You’re stepping into a world filled with possibilities, questions, opportunities, and uncertainty. You won’t have every answer today, and you don’t need to.

The people you become are often shaped by the paths you never expected to take.

Give yourself permission to grow, to change your mind, to fail occasionally, and to keep moving forward.

On behalf of The Corey Podcast, and from me personally, I want to congratulate every member of the Class of 2026.

May you chase the life that feels true to you. May you stay curious, remain kind, and never let fear convince you that you’re not ready.

Today we celebrate your accomplishments.

Tomorrow, the adventure begins.

Happy Graduation, Class of 2026. We’re cheering for you every step of the way.
